Welcome to Staropolanie folkdance group website .

The groups members come from well known Polish folk ensembles.

STAROPOLANIE's repertoire includes all Polish national dances and folk dances from the regions of Greater Poland (Wielkopolska), Rzeszów and Spisz.

The group has also a special programme for the feast of harvest thanksgiving (Dożynki).
Apart from its main focus on folklore the group also presents varieté dances and popular songs from 1930s, 1960s and 1970s.

The STAROPOLANIE was the first and so far the only Polish ensemble to present a Christmas dance and carol programme, which has won the hearts of numerous spectators.
The programme's aim is to present old customs and folk traditions associated with Christmas.
